A MAZE A DAY
EFFECTIVE AUG 05, 2026

A Maze A Day is built to need as little from you as possible. This page explains what little data does exist and where it goes.

The short version

No account, no sign-up, and no personal information is required to play. The puzzle runs entirely in your browser. The only thing saved is your own streak and stats, and it's saved on your device — not on our servers.

What's stored on your device

Your current streak, best streak, and which days you've solved are stored locally in your browser's storage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data, or using the "Clear my stats" option in the game, removes it.

Third-party fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which may log standard technical details like your IP address and browser type under Google's own privacy policy. We don't control or receive this data.

Hosting logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and performance purposes. These logs aren't used to identify individuals or build profiles.

No ads, no tracking, no selling data

We don't run advertising, don't use analytics or tracking pixels, and don't sell or share data with third parties for marketing.

Children's privacy

A Maze A Day is a general-audience puzzle game and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

If this changes

If we ever introduce accounts, leaderboards, or sign-in (features we're actively considering), this policy will be updated first to explain exactly what's collected and why, and the effective date above will change accordingly.
