The Patrol

How to Play

• Everyone gets the same 25×25 facility every day. It resets at 00:00 UTC, for everyone, at once.
• The whole board is visible at once, always — nothing is fogged, no camera to follow.
• Scattered around the maze are sentry drones. Each one walks a fixed patrol route back and forth through the corridors, forever, at a steady pace — nothing grows, nothing spreads, nothing ever changes shape. Watch a drone for a moment and its whole route is knowable.
• 1-2 drones are always guaranteed to patrol a route that crosses your path to the exit — the rest patrol elsewhere in the facility.
• Step into a cell a drone currently occupies — or have one step into yours — and you're spotted, straight back to the start of this attempt, same maze, same patrol timing.
• A drone's patrol never blocks a cell forever — it always keeps moving, so any given spot is only ever briefly dangerous. The maze is always solvable without ever needing to cross one.
• Find the green exit.
• Drones move faster and there are more of them later in the week — Monday's the easiest, Sunday's the hardest. Pick a level, Beginner through Extreme.
• Use arrow keys or swipe to move. Come back daily to build your streak.
