How to Play

• Everyone gets the same 25×25 maze every day. It resets at 00:00 UTC, for everyone, at once. Nothing about the maze itself ever changes once you start — same walls, same exit, the whole way through.
• There's no fog and no camera panning — the whole maze is visible on screen from the moment it loads. Move the red marker (you) to the cyan marker (exit).
• The maze snap-rotates 90° on a recurring timer — and that timer gets sharply shorter the closer you get to the exit, barely changing for most of the run and then accelerating fast right near the end, so the chaos escalates exactly when you need to focus most. Your controls always track the current view, so "up" still moves you toward the top of the screen right after a rotation — it's the spatial reorientation itself that's disorienting, not fighting your own input.
• Independently, the whole view mirror-flips left-to-right on its own timer, stacking with the rotation — and it accelerates near the exit the same way. Controls adjust for this too — pressing a direction always moves you that way on screen.
• The walls strobe continuously — a slow, gentle brightness pulse, not a hard flash. Every so often the screen also throws a brief chromatic glitch pulse, a flash of red/cyan split-color noise. Neither one ever hides a wall or changes the maze — purely visual.
• On its own separate timer, your controls periodically invert — up becomes down, left becomes right — for a few seconds at a time. Watch the status banner above the maze for the countdown.
• All five effects run independently and simultaneously, and every interval gets tighter as the week goes on: Monday's the calmest, Sunday's the most chaotic.
• Pick a difficulty: Footprints traces your route as a dashed line that retracts when you backtrack. No Trace shows nothing — same maze, no memory aid.
• Move with arrow keys on desktop, or swipe on mobile.
