How to Play

• Everyone gets the same trail every day. It resets at 00:00 UTC, for everyone, at once.
• Tight visibility: you only ever see the ring of ground immediately around you — one step in every direction — nothing beyond it, until you light a lantern.
• The trail is dotted with stone lanterns. Reach one and spend a flask of oil to light it — its glow permanently charts the passage around it, spreading outward through the corridors themselves rather than in a straight line.
• The summit gate at the end of the trail stays shut until every lantern is lit — there's no way past it while even one is left dark.
• Oil is limited and doesn't refill mid-attempt, so on the harder levels there's exactly enough for every lantern and not a drop to waste.
• Pick a level, Beginner through Extreme, on top of the day's difficulty. Higher levels grow the trail and shrink your oil store — same day, same level, same trail for everyone.
• Use arrow keys or swipe to move. Space or the Light button to light the lantern you're standing on.
